Mobility of youth workers – training course

Organized by: Seiklejate Vennaskond in cooperation with Estonian national agency of Erasmus+ programme 

Project dates: 1 th to 10 th of november 2018

The main aim of the project is to give participating youth workers nessecary skills, knowledge and attitudes to work with and include young people with fewer opportunities and create a role model form the youth worker for tolerance and inclusion.

During those 10 days we:

• Used non-formal learning methods to discuss the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities.
• Created strategies for better inclusion.
• Discussed possibilities how to include more and how to better reach these young people with fewer opportunities.
• Actively worked on breaking the stereotypes youth workers might have about youth with fewer opportunities and reached an understanding of how to recognize intolerance and stereotyping in our own behaviour and how to be a good role model for young people through your own behaviour and tolerance.
• Shared good practices we had in the group of youth workers about inclusion and tolerance.
